Ohio Senate Committee Hears Surprise Billing Legislation
The Ohio Senate Insurance and Financial Institutions Committee heard for a second time HB 388, which relates to Out-of-Network Health Care. ERIC first showed its support of the bill back in November 2019. The bill has since been passed by the full House and is now in its first Committee in the Senate.
Idaho Lawmakers Hear Telehealth Interstate Practice Legislation
Idaho lawmakers heard draft telehealth legislation that would allow Idaho patients to see licensed providers from other states when using telehealth. ERIC supports interstate practice among providers as it will eliminate barriers to care for patients, and promote provider choice, as the country becomes more interconnected through technology.
