ERIC’s seasoned advocacy team takes the policy priorities set by our large employer members and works directly with federal and state lawmakers and regulators, lobbying to shape the rules that impact ERIC member companies.
We work side-by-side with our members to be their voice at the local, state, and federal level on issues that matter to them as large employer plan sponsors. ERIC’s team lobbies to ensure that its member companies can design benefits tailored to their workforce and administer their benefit plans uniformly without added mandates, taxes, or compliance burdens.
ERIC fights in federal court against state and local policies that conflict with ERISA—the Employee Retirement Income Security Act. ERIC also joins legal cases as amicus curiae to support large plan sponsors in litigation impacting employee benefit plan design or administration.
