The ERISA Industry Committee Calls on Federal Regulators to Simplify Retirement Plan Reporting and Disclosure

Washington, D.C., May 22, 2024 – The ERISA Industry Committee (ERIC) today urged the Department of Labor, Department of Treasury, and the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (collectively, the Agencies) to refrain from imposing unnecessary or unactionable new requirements and to consider costs and administrative burdens when formulating recommendations required by the SECURE 2.0 Act.

ERIC Recommends Simplifying Labor Department Proposal Implementing SECURE 2.0’s Automatic Portability Rules

WASHINGTON, March 28, 2024 – The ERISA Industry Committee (ERIC) today filed a comment letter with the U.S. Department of Labor regarding the agency’s proposed regulation implementing Section 120 of the SECURE 2.0 Act.
