ERIC urged members of the General Court of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to remove prescribing limitations for telehealth visits. This language in the text unnecessarily restricts patient access to remote care and relies heavily on in-person visits, which have been limited and avoided during the COVID-19 pandemic.

ERIC sent a letter to Massachusetts lawmakers regarding House Bill 4916. While ERIC supports the advancement of telehealth, we are asking lawmakers to remove the provision that limits prescriptions to only previously diagnosed conditions during an in-person visit.

Employers Support Transparency in Health Care Costs
ERIC joined with other employer groups to thank Senator Braun for introducing the Health Care PRICE Transparency Act (S. 4106). The act would codify requirements on insurers and hospitals to make public the real prices for health care.
