ERIC Looks Forward to Working with DOL to Combat Regulatory Burdens

For Immediate Release

Washington, DC – The following statement should be attributed to Annette Guarisco Fildes, President and CEO, The ERISA Industry Committee (ERIC):

“As we begin 2018, The ERISA Industry Committee looks forward to working with leadership at the Department of Labor (DOL), including newly confirmed Assistant Secretary of Labor for the Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA), Preston Rutledge, to combat the regulatory burdens imposed on companies that sponsor employee benefit plans.

It is important to create an environment that supports the ability of large employers to offer health, retirement, and compensation benefits to workers, retirees, and families across the nation without undue mandates, taxes or compliance burdens. The ERIC policy team is eager to team with the DOL and remove the unnecessary burdens being placed large plan sponsors.”
