Employer Groups Call on Congress to End Surprise Billing Once and For All

Today, ERIC joined with 48 other employer groups to call on Congress to end surprise medical billing. In a letter to lawmakers, the groups urged them to include comprehensive protections against surprise medical bills in the next COVID-19 relief package. Specifically, the groups urge lawmakers to end surprise medical billing for all patients through the implementation of fair, market-based payments for out-of-network charges.
