ERIC Works with U.S. Senate on Solutions to Reduce Health Care Costs

ERIC submitted a letter to the U.S. Senate, Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions on specific legislative, regulatory, or subregulatory solutions for reducing health care costs. In the letter, ERIC outlines our top three priorities for the 116th Congress. They are:

1. Eliminating the ACA imposed a 40% “Cadillac” excise tax on high-cost employer-sponsored health insurance

2. Elimating surprise medical billing

3. Addressing rising prescription drug costs
