On April 19, the Tennessee Senate Finance, Ways and Means Committee passed HB 455.
ERIC recommended passage of HB 455, which is a win for ERIC and its member companies as the bill increases access to mental health providers in the state by entering the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact.
The bill was substituted for the Identical Senate version (SB 161) and passed the full Senate with 30 ayes and 0 nays.
SB 161 will be sent to the Governor’s Office for signature where we expect Governor Lee to sign the bill.
