ERIC Win: Georgia PSYPACT Legislation Passes House

The Georgia General Assembly passed SB 306, which would allow the state to join the audiology and speech-language pathology interstate compact. The legislation passed 138-0, and will now be sent to the Governor’s Office for signature. Once signed into law, ERIC member companies will be able to expand their telehealth benefit offerings in Georgia, ensuring that patients will be able to see audiology and pathology providers promptly.

ERIC was influential in working with Georgia lawmakers in the bill’s passage by offering our comments to the House Health and Human Services Committee last week.
