40 Business Groups Send Senate HELP Committee Letter on Surprise Billing

ERIC, along with 39 other organizations,sent a letter to the U.S.Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions regarding its draft legislation, the “Lower Health Care Costs Act.” The letter urged lawmakers to reject an independent dispute resolution as a means of resolving surprise medical billing. Instead, the letter called upon Congress to pass legislation ending surprise medical bills consistent with priorities laid out in the letter. Click here to read the letter.
