Today, The ERISA Industry Committee (ERIC) asked the IRS to clarify the deadline for on-cycle determination letter submissions for Cycle E filers. The deadline for filing is January 31, 2016, which this year falls on a Sunday, and we asked that the IRS announce that the deadline is February 1, the following business day, since there is no IRS guidance on whether due dates for determination letters are automatically extended.
