Allows members to track emerging legislation at the state and local level

Washington, DC – The ERISA Industry Committee (ERIC) has launched its State Mandate Action Program™ portal. The portal, exclusive to ERIC members, provides quick and easy access to information on emerging state and local laws and regulations that complicate the ability of large employers to design and administer benefits to their nationwide workforces.
“ERIC members, the largest employers in the country, have employees in every state across the nation. With states, as well as localities, becoming more aggressive in mandating specific employee benefits or compensation rules, it is increasingly difficult for our members to keep track of and comply with the innumerable new rules,” said Annette Guarisco Fildes, president and CEO, ERIC. “The State Mandate Action Program™ portal captures emerging state and local laws and regulations on our website, making it easier for ERIC members to find and follow the new and changing rules.”
In addition to providing ERIC members with access to emerging laws and regulations, ERIC will use the State Mandate Action Program™ to build on the success of ERIC’s telehealth initiative, and help to shape or oppose proposed laws and regulations that have a direct effect on ERIC members and their employee benefit and compensation plans.
