Yesterday, Idaho lawmakers heard draft telehealth legislation that would allow Idaho patients to see licensed providers from other states when using telehealth. ERIC supports interstate practice among providers as it will eliminate barriers to care for patients, and promote provider choice, as the country becomes more interconnected through technology.
ERIC urged passage of the legislation in a testimony letter sent to the Committee prior to the hearing this afternoon.
