Regulatory Update on EEOC Compensation Data and Final Hardship Distribution Rule

Tuesday, October 29, 2019 (3pm - 4pm US/Eastern)

This is a member-only webinar.*

Last month the EEOC announced that it would not seek approval from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to collect detailed employee compensation data (referred to as Component 2 data) on its Form EEO-1 next year. A formal notice in the Federal Register explained the reasons for not continuing to seek this data.

On September 19, Treasury and IRS issued long-awaited final guidance on hardship distributions from 401(k) plans. This final rule includes updates from statutes going back to the Pension Protection Act of 2006.

We will be joined by Erin Sweeney and Elizabeth Drake from Miller & Chevalier who will provide an update on these rules and explain their potential impact on human resources and benefits functions.
