Just prior to recessing for the Memorial Day holiday, the Senate Finance Committee released its tax-reform "options" paper on retirement and health policy changes. This is option paper number 7 in a series that the Senate Finance Committee has released as a result of its meetings with members and staff on options to consider under tax reform by subject matter.

Meanwhile, Representative Richard Neal (D-MA) re-introduced the Retirement Plan Simplification and Enhancement Act, which would make significant changes to both DB and DC plans.

ERIC also recently testified before the EEOC on wellness regulations, and submitted several comment letters on various aspects of the Affordable Care Act.
