The Departments of Treasury, Labor, and HHS have recently released final regulations to implement the statutory rules under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) governing the provision of uniform benefit summaries to participants in group health plans.

Unfortunately, the final regulation does not exempt large employers from its purview, and most plans will need to comply with these intricate and complicated rules for their next open season. To help sort through the new rules, Andy Anderson, partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and Kevin Knopf, Attorney-Adviser in the Office of Tax Policy at the U.S. Department of the Treasury will lead a discussion of the changes and answer numerous questions about the new rules.
