San Francisco Mayor Edwin Lee has signed the San Francisco Health Care Security Ordinance (HCSO), a move that will have significant ramifications for an employer’s use of Health Reimbursement Accounts (HRAs) to meet the HCSO’s contribution requirements.

ERIC is pleased to have Andy R. Anderson, a partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, lead a discussion of the changes to the HCSO on a December 7th ERIC FocusOn Call. Andy's perspective will be especially valuable because he provided counsel (and legislative language suggestions) to an employer coalition in San Francisco during the period of consideration.
