Description: To amend the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 and the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to temporarily replace the 30-year Treasury rate with a rate based on long-term corporate bonds for certain pension plan funding requirements and other provisions, and for other purposes.

Call Up With Instructions: That the Senate proceed to the bill at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader, in consultation with the Minority Leader under the following limitations. That the only first degree amendments in order be regarding: Pension Discount Rate, Deficit Reduction Contribution Relief, Multi-Employer Plan Relief. That the only first degree amendments in order be the following: 3 amendments by the Majority Leader or his designee; 3 amendments by the Minority Leader or his designee; I Frist-Daschle Managers Amendment. That any second degree amendments be relevant.
