ERIC Supports Congress on Efforts to Enhance Retirement Security

For Immediate Release

Washington, DC – The following statement should be attributed to Will Hansen, Senior Vice President of Retirement and Compensation Policy, The ERISA Industry Committee (ERIC):

“The ERISA Industry Committee (ERIC) is pleased that the Family Savings Act was passed out of the House Ways and Means Committee and encourages its passage out of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Representing exclusively large employer plan sponsors, ERIC is a staunch supporter of policies that increase access to and the affordability of retirement plans, and we are pleased that lawmakers are taking important steps to ensure that employers are more easily able to provide the best benefits for their specific workforces.

ERIC looks forward to continuing our work with both lawmakers and the Administration on policies that support the ability of employers to administer benefit plans uniformly, and without needless paperwork and administrative burdens.”
