2/27/17 - Government Relations Strategy Meeting

Monday, February 27, 2017 (3pm - 4pm US/Eastern)

This is a member-only meeting.

Meeting Location:
Ways and Means Library
(1100 Longworth)

This is the first ERIC Government Relations Strategy Meeting of 2017 in the ongoing series of meetings of the ERIC Government Relations Committee, where Washington, D.C.-based member company lobbyists, policy experts and others meet to develop and implement strategies to advance legislative and regulatory priorities.

We’ve invited a member of the Ways and Means Committee to join us. We will use this meeting as a strategy session focused on the GOP's efforts to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act tentatively scheduled for markup on March 1, in Ways and Means.

We will also strategize about Senate action on the Congressional Review Act resolutions on state and local retirement plans, next steps for legislation to take PBGC premiums off budget, and compare notes on presidential sub-cabinet appointments.
