ERIC’s December 8th FocusOn call will feature the impact of the Affordable Care Act on account-based health plans including health reimbursement accounts, health savings accounts, and health flexible savings accounts. As you may imagine, the FocusOn Call will cover a wee bit of territory and will address some fairly basic questions about how these accounts can be squared with certain inflexible rules under the ACA.

The featured speaker is Kendra Roberson of Covington & Burling who has devoted considerable time and attention to this topic and will be the one steering us through this minefield of ornery issues. Two Treasury officials have also agreed to participate on the call: Kevin Knopf and Carrie Simons. We expect that they will be helpful in navigating some of the thornier issues.
