ERIC: DP Pension Lobby Documents

So you will have them in one place, linked below are documents ERIC has sent to the Senate Finance Committee in preparation for consideration of the "National Employee Savings and Trust Equity Guarantee Act of 2005" (NESTEG) scheduled in the committee for 10 AM tomorrow.

These documents are:
(1) A letter detailing problems with a prospective-only approach to clarification of the law regarding hybrid plans.
(2) A letter outlining key issues in the NESTEG bill's rewrite of the pension funding rules.
(3) A "plain English" explanation of current law pension funding rules.
(4) A briefing document that assesses the status of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.
