Sens. Grassley and Baucus file Technical Corrections Bill to NQDC provisions of American Jobs Creation Act, Working Families Tax Releif Act

On Friday, Sen. Chuck Grassley, chairman of the Finance Committee, and Sen. Max Baucus, ranking member, in coordination with Rep. Bill Thomas, Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, introduced the Tax Technical Corrections Act of 2004. The bill includes technical corrections to the nonqualified deferred compensation provisions of the American Jobs Creation Act of 2004 (P.L. 108-357) and the uniform definition of child contained in the Working Families Tax Relief Act of 2004 (P.L. 108-311).

Senators Grassley and Baucus hope to receive comments on the technical corrections bill. The bill, along with any modifications or additions, will be re-introduced in the 109th Congress.
