Mercer Web Briefing on State Health Reforms

Over the past several years, the state legislatures in Massachusetts, Maine and Vermont have produced landmark health care legislation addressing uninsured residents. Many other state legislatures have attempted to tackle the issue as well. The 2008 state legislative sessions hold the promise of further developments, as many states established commissions in 2007 to study the issue and report to their Governors and legislatures for the 2008 sessions.
