ERIC Sends Comments to FASB

Today ERIC submitted comments to FASB regarding its March 31 exposure draft on employer's accounting for defined benefit pension and other postretirement benefit plans. The exposure draft would make substantive changes to the accounting practices for defined benefit plans and retiree health plans. A copy of the comment is attached.

We thank all ERIC members who participated in the conference call on this issue and who submitted comments on the draft. Your comments and suggestions were extremely helpful.
