Letter to Senate on FSC/ETI Bill

Below is the letter outlining member concerns with the nonqualified deferred compensation provisions of S.1637, the "Jumpstart Our Business Strength (JOBS) Act of 2004" (also known as the FSC/ETI or the international tax bill) has been sent to Senate offices. The bill is being debated on the floor of the Senate this week. Although it is unlikely that any changes will be made prior to the Senate vote, Finance Committee staff has encouraged us to voice our concerns at this stage with an eye toward pursuing changes during the House-Senate conference.
