ERIC Press Briefing - Consensus Proposals for Pension Funding, PBGC Reform, and Hybrid Pension Plans (May 26)

CONSENSUS PROPOSALS FOR PENSION FUNDING, PBGC REFORM, AND HYBRID PENSION PLANS

Members of The ERISA Industry Committee (ERIC) comprise the greatest concentration of private sector defined benefit pension plans in the nation. The organization has crafted pension reform proposals to meet today’s challenges in a way that will protect participants and enable and encourage employers to continue to offer soundly funded defined benefit plans to their employees in the future. ERIC's pro-active reforms call for substantial changes to current law that will work well in the context of a company's need to manage its cash flow.

A briefing on the proposals will occur:
9:30 - 10:30 AM
Thursday, May 26, 2005

To participate, call:
(641) 985-8000
