<nobr>Jan 26, 2005</nobr> ERIC Signs On to Coalition Letter in Support of Health Information Technology
ERIC and other employer, provider and health care groups recently sent comments to the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology in response to a Request for Information regarding the development and adoption of a National Health Information Network. The comments addressed the privacy and security challenges associated with exchanging patient information. ERIC believes that addressing these issues appropriately will be essential to achieving the interoperability necessary to improve the quality and cost effectiveness of the health care system. |
