Kathryn Ricard Joins ERIC as Vice President of Retirement Policy
We are pleased to announce that Kathryn Ricard has joined ERIC as Vice President of Retirement Policy. Kathryn replaces Rosemary Becchi who is moving to the New York area with her husband who has taken a new position with a New York accounting firm.
Kathryn worked previously as an independent consultant on regulatory, compliance, advocacy and legislative services. Earlier she was Vice President for Retirement & Pensions with the American Council of Life Insurers. At ACLI she worked with both congressional staff and Administration officials on retirement security policy issues. She also worked with other trade associations and spoke on behalf of ACLI.
Prior to her ACLI experience, Kathryn worked at the Investment Company Institute as an associate counsel on federal legislation and regulations affecting the ICI's members. Among other positions, Kathryn also was an associate with the Groom Law Group and was an employee benefits specialist with the U. S. Department of Labor.
Kathryn earned her law degree from George Washington University Law Center and a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce with a degree in accounting. She holds a JD degree and is a CPA.
