Five discussion sessions will maximize participants’ understanding of issues and lead to development of a health agenda for your company and for ERIC: The Potential for Cost Savings: Benefits and Pitfalls. Steps employers can take to empower consumers to make responsible healthcare choices. Doing “The Right Thing”: The employer’s role in promoting lifestyle, health and disease management. The “Right-to-Know”: The promise of pay-for-performance health care programs. Use of health information technology to control costs. In addition, each panel is designed to provide a foundation for employers to pursue their health advocacy agenda. Proposed Agenda and Registration Form	The Hon. Tommy Thompson, former Secretary of Health and Human Services and Governor of Wisconsin – now a partner at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and the independent chair of the Deloitte Center for Health Care Management and Transformation - will be the Keynote Speaker.
