On June 14th, the Trump Administration issued their final rule to expand Health Reimbursement Arrangements. This rule makes a number of changes, some of which are directly in response to comments and requests by ERIC. While most ERIC members are unlikely to cease offering health insurance and instead move to a 100% defined contribution system (sending employees to the individual market), the new HRA rule gives ERIC members the opportunity to expand and diversify coverage options.
