Robert Newman of Covington will provide an overview of recent developments in Washington DC relating to policymakers and de-risking transactions, including the recent GAO report on participant disclosure and the ERISA Advisory Council’s initiatives in this area. We plan to discuss ERIC policy positions in this area, particularly related to participant disclosure and de-risking transactions.
